Review: This jewelry box serves it's purpose. The faux leather is padded on the top, giving it a slight cushion effect. I received it with some dents in the cushioning but nothing some heat from a hairdryer couldn't fix. The rest of it is every well covered and finished. It's is lightweight when empty (making it feel a bit "cheap" but once you have put in some jewelry, it has a nice weigh to it making it not feel as "cheap" as it did when empty. The felt finish in the box is good quality, not the best but it will do for a jewelry box at this price - you get what you pay for. It comes with a key for you to lock the box. It's is a basic two prong key, so it's not the best "security". I would like it more if there were a pull-ribbon to help pull out the tray and not just for holder for stud earrings.
