Review: This is the best animal drinking fountain I have ever found and well worth the money. It is very easy and straight forward to clean. It has a larger filtering pad and larger water purifying filter where others do not, and it also has a small filter next to pump to catch and hair etc that might slip through. I just check it when I clean the fountain once a week. I top water up as soon as it reaches half way which keeps the water cleaner for longer. I put my fountains up higher (not on the floor) to keep dust etc to a minimum. This is my second purchase and will definitely get another. It has different settings and will flow constantly or just when cat approaches. Glows blue when on but light turns off once cat walks away if you have it on motion sensor. Because I have 10 cats the battery runs out in a day or two so I leave mine plugged in which isnt a problem. I have one in a container because one naughty older kitten thinks its a play pool 😀
